Phil Collins has built one of the most successful careers in music history, both as a member of Genesis and in his solo career. Despite all his successes, there is a band that emerged in the 1990s that he has always deeply admired and would like to have created.

That band is Radiohead.

Collins never hid his admiration for the group led by Thom Yorke. For him, the band's ability to constantly reinvent itself and defy expectations made Radiohead one of the most important formations of its generation.

The musician especially highlighted the artistic courage shown by the group in abandoning commercial formulas after the enormous success of "OK Computer". Rather than repeating the same approach, Radiohead delved into electronic and sonic experimentation that redefined their identity.
