Author of two assists in Corinthians' 3-1 victory over Palmeiras, in the under-17 Brasileirão, attacking midfielder Léo Amistá spoke after the match and highlighted the importance and feeling of having won the Derby played on the afternoon of last Tuesday (07), in a duel valid for the 7th round of the competition.

In an interview with Corinthians TV, the player commented on the good result achieved, praised the strength of the group, and also spoke about the feeling of winning a classic against the biggest rival.

"Man... a bit lost for words, but I'm very happy. First of all, thank the group because without them none of this would have happened. Now it's time to move on, which is just another game, let's move on. It's good, it gives us more confidence for the championship, and that's it... tired, but very happy with the victory and with this very strong group", he began.

After the clash against the Cariocas, Timãozinho returns to São Paulo to face Barcelona Esportivo Capela, on July 18th (Saturday), in a match against Paulistão.

With his performance in the Derby, Lucca Caramico increased his advantage in the team's top scorer this season. The striker reached nine goals in 13 matches played in 2026 and remains isolated at the top of Timãozinho's goalscoring rankings.

In second place comes Miguel Moscardo, with seven goals in 11 games. Closing the top 3 is Thiago Coelho, who has six goals in 11 matches this season.

The highlight of the artillery update was Matheus Rocha. Scorer of two goals in the victory over Palmeiras, the striker reached three goals in 12 games and joined the group of the team's third highest scorers in 2026, alongside Léo Rodrigues, Rhyan Ladeira and Jerry Vinícius.
