"This is in retaliation for the bombing of ships by Iran yesterday. If it happens again, it will be very worse!" Trump wrote on social media. The president also shared videos of attacks conducted by the United States.
Earlier, the Central Command of the United States Armed Forces (Centcom) reported that American forces carried out a new round of bombings against Iranian targets.
According to Centcom, the operation was carried out "under the guidance of the commander in chief" to "further reduce Iran's ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz."
The American government stated that the attacks are aimed at aimed at holding Iran responsible for the "recent unjustified aggression" against commercial ships and civilian crews sailing through the sea.
Explosions were heard in the cities of Jask, Bushehr, Bandar Abbas and Sirik, as well as the island of Abu Musa. Iran's state TV said shrapnel from American projectiles hit a hospital in the city of Chabahar. There are no details about injuries.
The state press said that two Iranian ports were hit in the attack.
The Chabahar region also had power cut.
The Iranian press also reported that the country's Armed Forces are ready to launch a "massive" attack against United States military bases in the Middle East.

The new bombings came just hours after Trump declared that the peace deal with Iran is "over" and threatened new attacks.
"I'm going to give you a little warning: we're going to hit them hard tonight," Trump told reporters. "If necessary, we will cut the electricity system and water treatment plants, but we don't want that."
Despite the peace agreement announced in June, the United States and Iran have returned to exchanging attacks in recent weeks.
In recent hours, American forces have bombed targets in southern Iran after accusing Tehran of attacking three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
Sirik and Bandar Abbas were US targets during the attacks on Tuesday (7).
Iran reacts to threats
Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, reacted to Trump's threats and stated that the country will respond through firm actions. In a post on the social network
"We do not respond to vulgarity with vulgarity, but with actions: with courage and great bravery."
The publication was a response to the tone adopted by Trump, who called Iranian leaders "scum" and "crazy".
"I don't want to deal with them, they are led by sick people and they are cruel and violent people," said the American president.
