What happened
Narrator Rômulo Mendonça and commentator Ricardo Bulgarelli were removed by the platform from broadcasts following the repercussions of comments made by professionals about reporter Alana Ambrosio, a member of the coverage team.


The measure was taken while Amazon is carrying out an internal investigation into the case. The company did not provide a deadline for the end of the investigation or whether the professionals will return to broadcasts during the finals.

Who is Marcelo Gomes
The narrator Marcelo Gomes has been on Amazon Prime since October 2025 and is one of the platform's experts on the subject of the NBA. Previously, he presented programs on the NBA Brasil channel on YouTube.
