Singer Bonnie Tyler dies, aged 75
Artists and authorities used social media to mourn the death of Bonnie Tyler, aged 75. Known for the hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart", the singer was hospitalized in May, when she underwent emergency surgery and was placed in a medically induced coma.

As a Welsh woman, it is difficult to describe the scale of the legend that she and her music became, especially for my generation, which had to fight for practically everything in terms of women's rights. Bonnie represented this: she was this super cool, wild-haired rocker who didn't apologize for who she was. I met Bonnie several times and she was always very genuine, smiling, curious and cheerful. She was so loved. Wales will miss you deeply, Bonnie Tyler."
