Rescue teams search for victims buried in collapsed buildings across the country. The two strong earthquakes that hit Venezuela on Wednesday (24) left 1,430 dead, 3,000 injured and 3,100 homeless - the number could increase, according to the UN and the US Geological Survey. Entire buildings and houses collapsed in Caracas and other Venezuelan cities. This Friday morning (26), rescue teams were working in search of survivors. Also this Friday, international rescue teams began arriving in Venezuela. Brazil sent reinforcements. On Saturday (27), the country received another 22 machines to assist in the search. Itamaraty confirmed on Thursday (25) that 2 Brazilians were among the dead. More than 50 thousand are missing, according to the UN, and residents are rescuing them 'with their own hands'.
