The 2026 edition of the João Rock festival takes place on August 1st, at the Permanent Exhibition Park in Ribeirão Preto, bringing together a Brazilian line-up, with more than 30 attractions that connect different styles and mix generations.


Known for highlighting the power of national production, the event has four stages. The João Rock Stage, which carries the essence of the festival, highlights the diversity of national rock and its connection with genres that are also part of this history, such as reggae, rap and MPB.

With alternating and uninterrupted shows, the program begins at 2pm with Batalha da Aldeia, followed by the presentation of the winner of the Band Competition. Next, Chico Chico, Lagum, Detonautas, Zé Ramalho, Alceu Valença, Os Paralamas do Sucesso, CPM 22, BaianaSystem and the Charlie Brown Jr. Acústico project will perform, which welcomes Negra Li and Marcelo Nova as guests.


Meanwhile, Palco Brasil, created to celebrate regions, cultural movements and great national icons, presents, in this edition, the theme "From North to South", with a program that covers the five regions of the country and brings together different rhythms, sounds and influences.

From 3:20 pm onwards, Os Tucumanus and Victor Xamã will take to the stage, representing the North region; Nação Zumbi, the Northeast; Armandinho, the South; Marcelo D2 invites Rael, the Southeast; and Raimundos, the Central-West.


Finally, the Fortalecendo a Cena Stage expands the space for independent musical production and brings together artists who have stood out on the national scene. From 3:25 pm, the line-up includes Ajuliacosta, Yago Oproprio, FBC, Djonga and Criolo.
