The game

The first half was balanced and had few gaps, with Corinthians and Palmeiras alternating moments of attack. Timão was in danger mainly with Luizinho, Gui Negão and Dieguinho, but stopped in Kauan Lima's defenses. On the other side, Felipe Teresa was the rival's main offensive highlight and created the team's best opportunities. In stoppage time, Pellegrin made a crucial cut to prevent his rival from opening the scoring with a counterattack.
