Yasmin Santos reveals that she suffered from fatphobia: "I felt like an ugly duckling"

Singer Yasmin Santos, 28, spoke about how fatphobia affected her and explained how she invested in her health and aesthetics in recent years.

To CNN Brasil, the country singer commented that she noticed a change in how other people were treated after losing weight.

"I felt like an ugly duckling in places. I was the one who didn't get attention, I was always in the corner. I felt a difference after the surgery, yes", he said.

Yasmin commented that, after undergoing bariatric surgery - three years ago -, she began to experience hair loss and needed time to recover her hair. Recently, he opted for a new style on his locks to alleviate the problem.

"I had bariatric surgery, rhinoplasty and cut my hair. It's really a change; the idea came from me", he commented.

The singer is promoting a new project, "Intuição", in which she sings alongside great artists such as Maiara & Maraisa, Gustavo Mioto, Henry Freitas, and others.

To CNN Brasil, he reinforced that his objective in the next few years of his career is to consolidate the eight years of work he has already done - making people remember his name when they hear his successful songs.
