World Cup: Neymar meets NFL legend and rap star before debut
Even outside the Brazilian team's debut game in the World Cup this Saturday (13), against Morocco, striker Neymar Jr. went with the delegation to the stadium and stood on the edge of the field, where he met Tom Brady, NFL legend, and Travis Scott, music star.
Neymar greeted and spoke briefly with the two Americans. Travis Scott was even wearing a Brazil shirt. On the same day, the rapper posted, on his way to the stadium, that he received a gift from Vini Jr.
Tom Brady is the biggest name in the history of American football in the USA, champion of the Super Bowl seven times, thus having more titles than all NFL teams.
Travis Scott is one of the biggest names in the US rapper in the last decade, with billions of reproductions on digital platforms and countless awards in music.
Brazil debuts in the 2026 World Cup at 7pm (GMT) this Saturday (13), against Morocco, at the New York/New Jersey stadium.
The Brazilian team is in group C of the competition. In addition to Morocco, they will face Haiti and Scotland, respectively. Neymar is expected to be available for the second game, against the Haitians.
