A giant soccer ball appeared rolling down the street among cars during a storm in San Salvador, El Salvador. The video of the incident went viral on social media this Monday (15).

In the images, it is possible to see the ball being carried by the wind in the rain and crossing the street, while cars are driving in the area and braking to avoid hitting the object. At one point in the video, however, the ball hit a vehicle head-on and bounced over it. (See the video above)

"Zona Rosa is feeling the spirit of the World Cup", joked Delorian. El Salvador did not qualify for the football tournament, which is being played in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
The giant ball had the flag of several countries, such as Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Italy, England, Germany and Sweden, according to the video.
El Salvador is facing a season of tropical storms, with high volumes of rain and strong winds, which have affected the entire national territory. The country's government asked the population to take caution when traveling around the city and follow Civil Defense guidelines, in an alert valid until at least Thursday (18).
