Woman records sexual harassment from app driver

A woman recorded the moment when an app driver made sexual proposals to her, during a race, in Araçatuba, in the interior of São Paulo.

The passenger presented the video to the city's DDM (Women's Defense Police Station), which is investigating the case.

The man was running the race for 99.

After reporting the victim, the driver was called to the police station.

The suspect alleges that the place where he picked up the victim was a "call girl spot", and that at the beginning of the conversation she had implied that she worked with that.

The Women's Defense Police Station continues to investigate the case.

99 regrets what happened and informs that it has a zero tolerance policy in cases of harassment and sexual violence. The driver partner was permanently blocked from the platform. A specialized team seeks contact with the passenger to welcome her and activate her insurance, which includes psychological support. The company is available to collaborate with authorities if necessary.
