With Quidditch scenes, HBO Max releases new Harry Potter series teaser
HBO Max launched, this Sunday (24), a new teaser for the television series based on the Harry Potter saga.
The production, scheduled to premiere at Christmas 2026, proposes a longer and more detailed adaptation of J.K. Rowling's work, reintroducing the Hogwarts universe to a new generation of viewers in a way that is faithful to the original texts.
New Harry Potter: what will the series be like?
Different from the cinematographic format, the television project will dedicate a complete season to each book in the franchise.
The first year will be entirely focused on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, delving deeper into the conflicts, scenarios and development of the characters that begin the young wizard's journey.
The teaser released this Sunday (24) focuses on the atmosphere of enchantment and discovery. Without revealing major twists in the plot, the video highlights the moment when Harry discovers his true identity and receives an invitation to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Amid recent rumors about production, everything indicates that the initial arc of the series will show the protagonist's transition from the home of his Muggle uncles, the Dursleys, to the magical environment.
It is precisely in this context that the public's first contact with central figures in the narrative will take place, such as friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as well as iconic characters such as Hagrid, Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Severus Snape.
