Spaten Fight Night tries to move away from the Popó x Wanderlei controversy
The event will once again bring together prominent athletes in clashes that promise to attract both fight fans and the public interested in great sporting spectacles.
The details were presented during a press conference held this Thursday (21), at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, in the capital of São Paulo.
According to Cinthia Klumpp, marketing director at Spaten, one of the main objectives of the event is to revive the feeling of admiration for the great references in combat sports.
"The idea is to admire the legends of our sport and bring a nostalgic atmosphere", he said.
During the press conference, Klumpp also commented on the repercussions of the confusion involving Acelino Popó Freitas and Wanderlei Silva in the last edition, which ended with a widespread fight between the fighters and their respective teams.
