With Kroos as model, Germany relaunches 7-1 kit

Germany relaunched the uniform used in the historic 7-1 victory against the Brazilian team, in the semi-final of the 2014 World Cup this Tuesday (26). The shirt will not be used in this year's World Cup, but will be available for sale.

Toni Kroos, former midfielder for the German national team, appeared as a model. He was in the match and scored two goals against a fragile Brazil. In the caption of the post, the sponsor announced it as an: "unforgettable summer, brought back to make new history".

Germany is in Group E of the World Cup, alongside Ivory Coast, Ecuador and the opening opponent on June 14th, the Curaçao team.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann has already announced the 26 squad. The biggest surprise on the list is the return of Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who has been retired from the national team since August 2024.

The goalkeeper will participate in his fifth World Cup. At 40 years old, Neuer is still active and is a starter for Bayern Munich, champion of the 2025-26 Bundesliga. He has reached a full agreement with the German club to renew his contract until 2027.

- Goalkeepers: Oliver Baumann, Manuel Neuer and Alexander Nubel;
- Defenders: Waldemar Anton, Nathaniel Brown, Pascal Grob, Joshua Kimmich, Felix Nmecha, Aleksandar Pavlovic, David Raum, Antonio Rudiger, Nico Schlotterbeck, Angelo Stiller, Jonathan Tah and Malick Thiaw;
- Midfielders/Forwards: Nadiem Amiri, Maximilian Beier, Leon Goretzka, Kai Havertz, Lennart Karl, Jamie Leweling, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sané, Deniz Undav, Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade.
