The list was drawn up based on the maximum speed recorded by players in official matches. Second place belongs to Swede Ahmed Qasem, who reached 36 km/h.

Among the best-known names in world football, Erling Haaland appears in third place, with a maximum speed of 35.57 km/h. Kylian Mbappé, often cited among the fastest athletes in the sport, ranks sixth, with 35.51 km/h.

The ranking also has two defenders in the top ten: Abdukodir Khusanov, from Uzbekistan, and Olwethu Makhanya, from South Africa.
