This Wednesday morning (1), the Corinthians women's squad completed the seventh day of interseason training during the World Cup break, which takes place between June 11 and July 19, in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The athletes returned to activities last week after receiving two weeks of vacation - June 10th to 24th.

In the final half of the 2026 season, the Parque São Jorge club will continue the Campeonato Paulista, Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil and Conmebol Libertadores. The players started the day by doing strength work in the gym. Then, after warming up on the CT Dr. Joaquim Grava lawn, coach Emily Lima promoted passing training with infiltration, counterattacks and finishing. Finally, there was a dynamic of 11 against 11.

In relation to the medical department, goalkeeper Lelê continues to recover from tendinopathy in the back of her right thigh. In turn, defender Agustina, who has not yet played this season due to injuries, has already started the physical readaptation process with Timão's Health and Performance Center. Defender Thais Regina and midfielder Juliana Passari, recovered from injuries, are already training normally with their other teammates.

As Brabas took a break from the calendar, occupying the lead in the Brazilian Women's Championship with 28 points, accumulating nine wins, one draw and just two defeats - 31 goals scored and 13 conceded. With only five games remaining until the end of the first phase, Alvinegro is heading towards the knockout stage.

The Parque São Jorge club, it is worth mentioning, will return to the field in the sport on July 17th, when they will host Ferroviária, at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, for the fourth round of the first phase of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino. Currently, the Corinthians team is second in the state with four points in three rounds - nine goals scored and four conceded.
