Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's yo-yo relationship takes a new step

The yo-yo relationship of Will Smith, 57, and Jada Pinkett Smith, 54, has taken a new turn recently.

The two have been together since 1997 and, since 2016, they have been on and off.

Living in different houses since that time, Will and Jada returned to live together about two years ago, according to the American magazine People.

"They are happy, they love each other and, as always, they are committed to supporting each other," a source close to the couple told the outlet.

In 2023, when promoting the release of her book "Worthy", Jada revealed that she had been separated from Will since 2016, but that they had been trying to understand each other for years.

"We just have a deep love for each other and we're going to figure out what that means to us. I'm going to be there for him, but also allow him to figure that out for himself," he said during an interview with People. Throughout this entire process, they chose not to formalize a divorce request.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett are parents to Jaden Smith, 27, and Willow Smith, 25. The actor is also the father of Trey Smith, 33, from the actor's first marriage, to Sheree Zampino.

The actors appeared together in Paris last month, posing as a family on the red carpet at the opening of Christian Louboutin's spring/summer 2027 collection. Jaden signs on as creative director of the men's line.

At the end of this month, the actor from "Um Maluco no Pedaço" is expected to come to Brazil to remember his career at the Expert XP 2026 event. In addition to the sitcom, some of his most successful works are "Mens de Preto" and "Eu Sou a Lenda", in which he acted alongside Jaden.

The Expert XP 2026 event takes place on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of July.
