Shakira took "Dai Dai", the official song of the 2026 World Cup, to the first of the games' three opening ceremonies, this Thursday (11). The Brazilian team also has its official song for the World Cup, "Bate no Peito", featuring Ludmilla, João Gomes, Zeca Pagodinho, Veigh, Samuel Rosa and produced by Papatinho.
But in addition to the official songs that are produced at each World Cup, there is also that package of tracks that tends to become anthem, hit or viral for the games, just as has already happened with "Festa", by Ivete Sangalo.
Launched in 2001, the song became one of the themes of Brazil's fifth championship in 2002 and to this day is part of the atmosphere of the team's games.
The release of "Festa" was not thought of during the World Cup. But some artists use the games with the same thought as carnival and take advantage of the wave of celebration to try to score hits with verses that refer to the fans, balls rolling on the field, achievements and scores.

MC Guimê revisited his classic "País do Futebol" and made a new version of the track.
If the original, released in 2013, combined the singer's funk with Emicida's rap, version 2.0 features a tambourine and the cavaquinho from Turma do Pagode.
"You didn't expect that, did you?", asked Guimê when releasing the song on Wednesday (10), one day before the start of the games.
Turma do Pagode and the "Turma Futebol Clube" project
"País do Futebol 2" was not the only investment by Turma do Pagode for the World Cup. Weeks before the ball started rolling on the field, the group recorded a complete project in a football atmosphere. Entitled "Turma Futebol Clube", the DVD was recorded on a football court in São Paulo, and combined the samba circle with the "naked" among friends.
The launch will be divided into "First Half", "Interval", "Second Half" and "Penalties". The first track has already been released: "Investigador".
Although its lyrics do not make any reference to the games or the national team (it talks about someone who dove into the pagoda to forget a great love), the clip was entirely recorded on the football field and in the changing rooms, bringing the football vibe.

The duo Benziê released "Sou maria chuteira". Vic Conegero and Du Pessoa's idea in the song is to bring another perspective to the term "maria-chuteira", which has always been used in a pejorative tone to talk about women who have relationships with football players.
The song brings the samba vibe to the duo, whose work is more focused on pop and reggae. "To create the melodies, we drew a lot from influences such as Beth Carvalho, Dona Ivone Lara and Maria Rita", says Vic Conegero.

"Tu pode fala mal" is another track released for the World Cup and which does not contain many references to the games in its lyrics. But there is the presence of Ronaldinho Gaúcho, an athlete who played in two World Cups for the Brazilian team (2002 and 2006) and won our fifth championship trophy.
Wesley Safadão called on the athlete and Ludmilla for the track, which features forró and pagode beats.
"It's an upbeat song, with a Brazilian feel. When we combine music, football and big names like Ludmilla and Ronaldinho, the result could only be a party", highlights Safadão. of vibration.
"This song has a people's feeling. It's that feeling of everyone singing along, living in the same moment. We wanted to transform this into sound", says MC PH.
Released at the end of May, the clip brings visual references linked to football, the favela and Brazilian urban culture. And an initial tribute to the "golden era, the greatest Brazilian team of all time. The Phenomenon, the Chicken, the Boy, the Wizard, the Doctor, the Shorty, the Emperor and the King... Geniuses who enchanted the world and brought joy to all the Brazilian people."

"Canário de Raça" - Tucho, Guga Nandes and Zag Zag teamed up with Guga Nandes and DJ Tucho for "Canário de Raça".
The song mixes funk and pagode beats and celebrates Brazilian spirit. It also features Zagallo's iconic line: "You're going to have to swallow me". And to make the music even stronger, I invited my partner Zag, grandson of the 'old wolf', as he was also known, to participate. It was an honor to have him with me on this project", says Tucho.
"It is impossible to talk about the World Cup without remembering my grandfather, after all, of the five stars we have won to date, four passed through his hands. I'm sure he's very proud of this honor", adds Zag.
