Gaspi was an Argentine content creator born on December 28, 2002, in Buenos Aires. He became known for his irreverent and provocative humor, with videos of spontaneous approaches to strangers on the streets of Buenos Aires, marked by the characteristic "buenass" greeting and his deep voice.
He started publishing on YouTube around 2018, while still a teenager, and built a base of more than 2.8 million subscribers on the channel, even with few public videos. Much of the content was removed by the platform itself due to the controversies it generated. On Instagram, he also has more than 2.8 million followers
At the height of his popularity, he disappeared from the networks without prior notice. He only returned in 2024 with an intimate video called "La vuelta de Gaspi", in which he spoke about mental health and its relationship with content creation. The video surpassed 4 million views in less than a week.
In 2025, Gaspi gained even more international visibility when he participated in "La Velada del Año V", a boxing event between content creators organized by the Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos, at the La Cartuja Stadium, in Seville
In addition to Gaspi, the singer and producer Oliver Tree was also on board the helicopter and did not survive.

The accident
Six people died in the crash of 2 helicopters in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the Southwest Zone of Rio de Janeiro, this Sunday morning (14).
According to witnesses, the PP-MAC and PR-DJJ aircraft collided in the air.
According to Major Fábio Contreras, spokesman for the RJ Fire Department, no one on board survived. Residents recorded the accident on several videos.
The Fire Department was called at 8:59 am to the incident. The aircraft crashed into the land of an abandoned church that had been rented by BYD, in the block of Avenida das Américas and Beth Lago and Rivadávia Campos streets.
One of the helicopters exploded upon hitting the ground, and the flames spread to the electric vehicles, which caused more explosions. The column of smoke could be seen from kilometers away.
