Who is Dino Prizmic, João Fonseca's opponent at Roland Garros

Dino Prizmic will be João Fonseca's opponent in the second round of Roland Garros. The Croatian tennis player qualified after beating the American Michael Zheng by 3 sets to 0, with scores of 6-1, 6-1 and 6-3.

At 20 years of age, the tennis player born in Split occupies 72nd position in the ATP rankings, being 71st, reaching the best in his career in May of this year. He cracked the Top 100 by beating Novak Djokovic at the Masters 1000 in Rome, also last month.

Croatian, Dince, as he is called, started playing tennis because of Djokivic, who is one of the young tennis player's greatest idols.

João Fonseca's path
Seed number 28 in the tournament, João beat Pavlovic in his debut and now faces Croatian Dino Prizmic.

If he advances to the third round, the Brazilian will face one of the biggest names in the history of tennis: Novak Djokovic. Owner of 24 Grand Slam titles, the Serbian appears as a potential rival for João in the third round of the competition.

In addition to the Serbian, João Fonseca's group also has big names on the world circuit. In the round of 16, the possible opponents would be Casper Ruud or Tommy Paul. In a possible quarterfinal, Alex de Minaur and Andrey Rublev appear as the main candidates.

In the semi-final, the Brazilian could cross paths with Alexander Zverev or Taylor Fritz. On the other side of the bracket, world ranking leader Jannik Sinner emerges as the main favorite for the title.
