Meta, the company that owns Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, is testing paid subscriptions to provide exclusive services to customers who choose to have additional features on social networks.

According to a note sent to CNN Brasil, the tools are being tested and include profile customization, Stories statistics and super reactions.

"These tests were positive, so Meta is excited to begin rolling out Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus, which will be available globally soon," the statement reads.

WhatsApp Plus
Subscribers to the paid version of the messaging app will have features such as exclusive stickers with special effects; themes for the application, up to 20 fixed conversations; premium ringtones for important contacts and customization of conversation lists with alerts; Custom design sounds and settings.

So far, WhatsApp Plus is only available in specific locations and only on WhatsApp Messenger.

To purchase the package, you must use a phone number from a country where Plus is available and have an active WhatsApp Messenger account.

Instagram Plus
The focus of the paid plan is controlling Stories and customizing your profile.

Users can view other people's temporary photos anonymously; have access to image statistics to find out who rewatched their content; extend the length of a Story beyond the traditional 24 hours and create personalized audience lists that go beyond the "Close Friends" limit.

On their profile, Plus subscribers can add custom fonts for their biography, new icons for the application, exclusive "Super Hearts" reactions and the ability to pin more posts to the top of their profile - in addition to the three for standard accounts.

Facebook Plus
Similar to the Instagram app, this subscription provides tools for social expression, reach and performance analysis.

Plus users can access more detailed engagement data and content views; customize the profile layout and the possibility of expanding the audience of publications.
