Wesley reveals Ancelotti's correction and guidance: "Help with details"

Before the second training session this Thursday (4), Wesley held a press conference at the Brazilian team's hotel, in New Jersey.

The right-back was asked about what Ancelotti expects from him tactically and revealed that he was already corrected by the coach during one of the team's activities.

"He talked to me, not directly, but in front of everyone. He showed a video, where there was a move where I made a mistake and he asked Danilo what I had to do, but I knew about that mistake. Something healthy, which is to add to my football", said the Roma player.

Wesley also took the opportunity to talk a little about his relationship with the Italian coach and how he is guided in training.

"He knows about my attacking potential, but I get it in my head that when I'm good offensively I'm going to be good defensively and vice versa. He helps me with the details, not attacking, surrounding, the right time to go up, to stay. He's talking to me a lot about these things and I hope he can help in defense and attack", he explained.

Regarding the priority between attack or defense, Wesley said that this will be decided depending on what the game requires.

"That's what the game will decide. If I start playing on my debut and he asks me to stay the whole game defending, I'll stay. If he asks me to be the Wesley that I am, to attack, I'll attack. If he asks for things, I'll do them. I'm here for Brazil, to help and it doesn't matter, if I have to spend 90, 100 minutes defending, I'll stay", said the player.

Brazil faces Egypt next Saturday (6), at 7pm (Brasília time), in the last friendly before the World Cup debut. The game will be at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
