Wesley is offered to Corinthians; see details

Forward Wesley, from Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia) and revealed by Corinthians, was offered to the Parque São Jorge club. With no space in Cristiano Ronaldo's team, the 21-year-old player spent the first half of the year on loan at Real Sociedad, in Spain.

In addition to being offered to Corinthians, Wesley's name is also linked to Cruzeiro, which is interested in signing the player on loan. The information was initially released by journalist Samuel Venâncio and confirmed by Gazeta Esportiva.

As the Gazeta Esportiva report found, however, Corinthians is unable to move forward in a possible negotiation. Timão is serving a transfer ban due to non-payment for the signing of José Martínez, who belonged to the Philadelphia Union.

Now, Corinthians' priority is to resolve the transfer ban. Then, if successful, the club will go to the transfer market. The Brazilian football window opens on July 20th.

Wesley's trajectory
Revealed in the youth categories of Corinthians, Wesley arrived at the club as an Under-13 and went through all the training stages until making his debut for the main team in 2023. As a professional, he played 85 matches, scored seven goals and, in the youth categories, won the Campeonato Paulista Under-17, finding the net in the decision against Palmeiras, decided on penalties.

In August 2024, the striker was traded to Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia, in a transfer worth around 20 million dollars (approximately R$ 110 million at the time), with another 5 million dollars expected in goal bonuses. At the beginning of 2026, he was loaned to Real Sociedad until the end of the European season. During his time at the Spanish club, he was part of the Copa del Rey champion squad, but the team chose not to exercise the purchase option at the end of the contract.

Throughout his professional career, Wesley has entered the field 129 times, scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists. The striker won the Copa América under-20, in 2025, in addition to the Spanish Cup and the Saudi League, this season.
