"We will comply with the law", says BC director about the BRB case

The Director of Supervision at the Central Bank, Ailton de Aquino, said that the monetary authority will comply with the law when asked about the next steps of the BRB (Banco de Brasília).

The regional institution plans to release its financial statement for the period 2025 next Friday (29). On that date, the bank also intends to present a solution to the Central Bank regarding the crisis caused by fraudulent financial operations signed with Banco Master.

According to the president of the Central Bank, Gabriel Galípolo, the monetary authority did not agree on a delivery deadline with the BRB. He stated that the authority monitors the situation of the financial institution on a daily basis.
