Wall Street opens higher and Dow Jones hits intraday record

Wall Street's main indices opened higher this Friday (22), with the Dow Jones reaching a record intraday high.

The market continues to keep an eye on the progress of negotiations to end the almost three-month war in the Middle East.

At around 10:40 am, Brasília time, the Dow Jones rose 0.66%, to 50,619 points. The Nasdaq rose 0.55%, to 26,438 points, and the S&P 500 rose 0.68%, to 7,496 points.

Oil is also rising. Brent, the global benchmark, in July, gained 1.35%, at US$ 103.96 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the American reference, for July, rose 0.88%, to US$ 97.20 a barrel.
