Preliminary reports from the PF (Federal Police) indicate that Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Mater, used intermediaries to pay R$400,000 per month to a group made up of police officers, militiamen and bicheiros to obtain confidential information, monitor investigations and intimidate people considered to be at odds with the banker.

The conclusions are contained in documents produced within the scope of Operation Compliance Zero, which were made public by Minister André Mendonça, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) last Tuesday (16).

According to the PF, the group, known as "A Turma", was led by retired federal police officer Marilson Roseno da Silva and worked under the coordination of Felipe Mourão, nicknamed "Sicário" in conversations seized by investigators.

Also according to the investigations, Felipe Mourão and Henrique Vorcaro, the banker's father, were the financial operators responsible for part of the payments made to the criminal group.

According to the corporation, the group's duties were to gather information about police investigations and legal proceedings, including under secrecy, access data in restricted systems and intimidate people who posed some type of threat to Vorcaro. According to the PF, the group continued to operate actively even after the outbreak of the first and second phases of Operation Compliance Zero.

So far, investigators have identified federal police officers Marilson Roseno da Silva, Sebastião Monteiro Júnior and Anderson Wander da Silva Lima as members of the group, as well as the animal game operator Manoel Mendes Rodrigues. The PF states that there is evidence that the group also included four to six unidentified members.

The investigation shows that "A Turma" received R$400,000 per month, which was divided among the members. According to the PF, the resources were transferred by the company King Participações Imobiliárias Ltda., owned by Felipe Mourão, after transfers of approximately R$1 million per month from companies linked to Daniel Vorcaro's group, especially Super Empreendimentos e Participações S.A.

As a result, PF estimates that the group may have received around R$9.6 million between 2023 and 2025. According to seized messages, on certain occasions, the banker also rewarded "employees" with bonuses.
