♬ Eight years after the first single, "Tão sexy" (2018), the singer and composer from Maranhão Aslan launches tomorrow, July 10, the second EP, "Meu canto", with a cover that displays art by Nadine.
The artist's intention was to mix sounds from the North and Northeast of Brazil in the EP "Meu canto" over four tracks recorded with production by Fábio Silva, also from Maranhão.
One of the four songs, the cheesy "Sabor de end afternoon" from Pará, was previously presented in a single released on May 5 with a recording that promotes the musical connection between Belém (PA) and São Luís (MA), the city in which Aderson Cleyton da Silva Frazão was born and raised on the outskirts - among five brothers - before rising in the pop universe with the stage name Aslan after having sung in churches and participated in singing competitions.
Already with a certain name in the local scene of the capital of Maranhão, Aslan presents in the EP "Meu canto" new songs such as the piseiro "Nosso last night in paradise", "Côco-babaçu" - tropical pop set in the cadences of cacuriá and carimbó - and the reggae "Azulejos", a track chosen to promote the release of the EP.
