Virada Cultural: how much do I save by visiting museums for free at the festival?

The Virada Cultural de São Paulo will take place this Saturday (23) and Sunday (24) and, in addition to the attractions of artists in different parts of the city, some of the capital's museums will have free entry to the public.

This year's theme is "The Festival of Festivals" and free access is an opportunity to enjoy the city and save money.

The Ipiranga Museum, reopened in 2022 after nine years closed for renovations, will participate in the event with a special program.

The place will have shows, mediated visits in Portuguese and Libras and educational activities open to the public.

Masp (São Paulo Art Museum) will be open free of charge during the early hours of the morning. Free entry will start at 6pm on Saturday and run until 6pm on Sunday.

The Portuguese Language Museum and the Pinacoteca, located in Praça da Luz, in the center of the capital, and the Immigration Museum, in Mooca, will also have free access.

- Masp: R$ 85 (entire entrance)
- Portuguese Language Museum: R$ 25 (entire entrance)
- Art gallery: R$ 40 (free entrance)
- Immigration Museum: R$ 16 (entire entrance)
