The six-month relationship between influencer Virginia Fonseca and football player Vini Jr. came to an end on Friday (15). The businesswoman was the first to speak out about the termination. Three days later, it was the athlete's turn to publish a statement.

On Friday (15), Virginia highlighted their dedication to the period in which they were together and stated that the decision was made respectfully.

While we were together, I dedicated myself a lot, as I dedicate myself to everything I propose to experience in my life. After all, I have always worked hard, I have always been very focused on my dreams and my responsibilities. But I am also a woman, and I allowed myself to live this without creating any barriers, valuing the respect that I have always had within any relationship. Throughout my life, I have learned to never negotiate what, for me, is non-negotiable. So, when something stops making sense, I prefer to have the maturity to end it with affection than to remain for the sake of remaining. of each one, just as it will be for mine!".

Remember the relationship
Officially, the relationship began on October 28, 2025, but there were already rumors that the two had been together for some time.
Marked by public statements, controversies and long-distance dating, the relationship between the player and the influencer gained great repercussion on social media.
The rumors of an involvement began after Virginia's frequent trips to Spain, where Vini Jr. has played for Real Madrid since 2018.
In September 2025, the influencer traveled with content creators Lucas Guedez, Rafa Uccman and Duda Freire, as well as advisor Hebert and makeup artist Nikolas Miguel. The group stayed in a mansion overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The signs of closeness with the player became more evident on the second trip. Suspicions increased when Virginia published a video inside Vini Jr's closet. In the recording, she stated that she had just woken up and was going out at night. In the video, part of a carpet appears with the inscription "Off-White", similar to the one shown in a photo published by the player in September 2024.
After an interval of a month and a half, Virginia returned to Madrid on October 1st, reigniting the rumors. A few days later, the player published a video dancing alongside the influencer, increasing fans' expectations about the official romance.

Brazilian model Day Magalhães disclosed alleged conversations with the player, which would have led to the end of his involvement with Virginia.
On his Instagram profile, Day stated that he had a relationship with Vini Jr. at the same time that he was involved with the influencer. She also highlighted that she was not blocked by the athlete on social media after the repercussions.
Later, Vini Jr. used her Instagram profile to apologize to Virginia Fonseca.
"I'm not ashamed to admit that I was careless, I didn't respond in the best way and I disappointed her. That's why I want to apologize publicly, with an open heart, because I understand that a real relationship only exists when there is respect, trust and transparency", she wrote.
Chance for love
On the day October 28, Virgínia gave the player a second chance and appeared at his side again. At that moment, the official relationship began.
Between posts and statements, the couple continued to have repercussions on social media. In her debut as drum queen of Grande Rio, the influencer showed gifts sent by her boyfriend, such as rose petals, a special breakfast and personalized sneakers. The tray was accompanied by a letter from the player: "For you to feel closer and more connected to you on this important day."
After Carnival, they spent time together in Madrid, where the player lives. "Yes! Our relationship is long-distance, but whenever schedules allow, I go there. This is already part of the routine", said Virgínia.

The tranquility was shaken when Virginia's mother, Margareth Serrão, liked - according to her, unintentionally - a post about an alleged betrayal by Vini Jr. She spoke out on social media: "Again, it was an unintentional like. Earlier this month, fans began speculating a crisis in the relationship after the player deleted a post with the influencer. This Friday (15), Virginia confirmed the breakup, hours after watching Vini Jr. play for Real Madrid.
