The official profile of influencer Viih Tube on Instagram went offline on Thursday night (2). The account, which has millions of followers, became unavailable hours after the influencer spoke publicly to refute the intense criticism she has been receiving due to "As Patroas", a reality show created by her and her husband, also former BBB Eliezer.
At the time of publication of this report, anyone trying to access the influencer's page was faced with the message "This page is not available". There is still no confirmation whether the profile was deactivated by Viih Tube itself or taken down by the platform due to user complaints.
Earlier, on Thursday afternoon, Viih Tube had used the social network to publish a series of videos explaining the format of the program, which features the participation of 11 family employees. According to her, the central objective of the dynamics was to draw public attention to generate a debate against the 6x1 work scale.
"Our intention was to draw attention to talk about the 6x1 scale, which we are against. However, I did not imagine that it would take the proportion it did", declared the influencer.
Now on g1
The first episode, published last Tuesday (30) on YouTube and on the couple's social networks, featured a test in which Eliezer and Viih Tube scattered coins across an artificial lake, around the living room and even inside a toilet bowl and in the bathroom trash. Employees needed to find the objects to accumulate points.
After the negative repercussions, the video was removed from YouTube. Faced with the wave of cancellations, influencers brought forward the publication of the second episode to Thursday afternoon, exclusively on Instagram - before the account went offline. According to Viih Tube, the new compilation directly addressed the precariousness of work.
Viih Tube's press office was contacted by g1 to comment on the drop in the profile on Instagram, but did not return until the closing of this article.
MPT investigation and TST's position
The repercussion of the reality show went beyond social networks and raised an alert among labor authorities. The Public Ministry of Labor (MPT) in São Paulo opened a procedure to investigate the case.
In a note sent to g1, the body reported that it "became aware of the activity announced by the influencer through the press and opened a procedure to investigate the facts".
The Superior Labor Court (TST) also spoke out on social media in an institutional manner. Although it did not mention the names of Viih Tube and Eliezer directly, the court warned that exposing workers to humiliating or embarrassing situations could constitute moral harassment.
"The Federal Constitution protects the dignity of the human person, and the Labor Court recognizes liability for abusive conduct. Humiliation is not entertainment. In the workplace, including at home, respect is a duty", published the TST.

Defense of the influencer
Before the account was made unavailable, Viih Tube reinforced that all collaborators participated voluntarily and were duly remunerated for the images.
"It is also important to make it clear that they are not obliged to participate. The invitation was made and those who wanted to have this contractual relationship with us outside of work were accepted. They signed an audiovisual production contract and received it as if it were an advertisement", he explained.
