NY Police manage to save woman who climbed the Brooklyn Bridge
A woman climbed one of the support cables of the Brooklyn Bridge, in New York, on Thursday night (9) and had to be rescued by police officers.
Images released by the North American city's Police Department show the operation set up to save her and the moment when one of the officers approaches her and starts talking.
"What's happening today? I want to help you. That's why I'm here now... I really care. I don't know what you're going through, but I want to understand. The strongest thing you can do right now is accept help, I promise," the officer argues in the video.

According to information from the NYPD, the officers spent almost an hour talking to the woman before managing to remove her from the scene. She was about 30 meters high.
During the incident, traffic on the bridge had to be stopped and several onlookers followed the police work.
After the situation was controlled, she was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
