Video shows car falling into the Tamanduateí river after accident in SP

A video from security cameras shows the moment a car falls into the Tamanduateí River after an accident involving two other vehicles on Avenida do Estado, in the central region of São Paulo, on the morning of this Monday (25).

Teams from CBPMESP (Fire Department of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo) work to search for possible victims. As of the last update, a man's body was found and removed from the scene.

According to firefighters, the accident occurred after the car, which was at high speed, made a turn on the bridge, hit the side of a car, lost control, collided with a second vehicle and fell into the river with the wheels up.

To CNN Brasil, the captain of the CBPMESP (Fire Department of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo) Leandro Soares said that the corporation carried out searches in areas close to the accident site and concluded that no one left the vehicle.

In the other two vehicles involved in the accident there were a couple in one of them and a driver in the other. No one was injured in these vehicles.
