Video: Rescuers save man trapped inside car on lake in USA

Rescue teams rushed to a vehicle partially submerged in a lake in the state of Virginia, in the United States, on Sunday (28). Rescuers made a human chain to rescue the driver.

Body camera footage released by the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, a city in Virginia, showed another first responder arriving and joining the efforts.

They surrounded the vehicle as they worked to reach the trapped driver.

Rescuers formed a human chain in the water to stabilize the rescue and guide the man out of the lake to safety.

The driver was taken to shore and treated for minor injuries after the crash, authorities said.
