Video: R$25 million helicopter seized in operation against bets
During the "Falsa Las Vegas" operation, this Thursday (28), authorities seized a R$25 million helicopter in Osasco, Greater São Paulo. The action sought to dismantle an illegal gambling and money laundering scheme linked to organized crime.

Agents from the São Paulo Civil Police and the Public Ministry served five preventive arrest warrants and 22 search and seizure warrants. The authorities also ordered the blocking of approximately R$5.2 billion in goods and financial assets linked to the targets of the investigation, in addition to the kidnapping of 76 properties linked to the gang.
In addition, around R$500,000 in cash was seized.
According to the Public Security Secretariat, authorities must request authorization from the Court to use the aircraft in police actions.
To date, only two targets of the action have been located. The Police continue to investigate the location of the other suspects and are further investigating the financial traceability of the criminal organization.

The 3rd Financial and Economic Fraud Police Station, of the State Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic), which continues with the investigations, points out that those involved used shell companies, "orange" bank accounts and clandestine betting platforms to move and hide illicit resources.
