Video: Pygmy hippo cub enjoys first outdoor bath
A baby pygmy hippopotamus enjoyed its first outdoor bath around ten days after birth at Berlin Zoo, Germany
In a video released this Thursday (21), the female, born at the beginning of May and who does not yet have a name, apparently was having fun in the water moving her ears.

According to the zoo, the cub is developing well and gaining weight steadily.
In a recent weigh-in, the female weighed 10 kilos, almost double her birth weight.
Pygmy hippos are solitary animals, and the mother, Debbie, will raise the calf alone, the zoo said in a statement.
In the wild, they can be found in the swampy forests of West Africa. It is estimated that there are less than 2,500 of these animals in the world, making them an endangered species.
