Video: PM crashes into car and "flies" on motorcycle during chase in SP

A military police officer suffered a motorcycle accident, this Friday (12), after colliding with a car during a chase on Rua Francisca Queirós, in Jardim Ângela, south zone of the city of São Paulo. Security camera footage recorded the moment of the accident.

In the video, it is possible to see the police officer on his motorcycle going the wrong way, when he collides head-on with a black car and is thrown into the air upon impact. See below:

At the time of the collision, the Rocam (Ostensive Patrol with Motorcycle Support) agent from the 37th BPM/M (Military Police Battalion) was monitoring the movement of a motorcycle in an activity considered suspicious.

According to PMESP (Military Police of the State of São Paulo), the eagle helicopter was called immediately to provide assistance to the victim, who was rescued and transported to Hospital das Clinicas.

The agent was conscious during the treatment and reported severe pain in the lower back and arms.
