Video of victim in Cristo hours before accident in Rio draws attention

A video published by director Lucas Vignale (1997 - 2026) the day before he died in a plane crash in Rio de Janeiro, last Sunday (14), went viral on social media.

In the recording, Vignale appears in front of Christ the Redeemer while closing his eyes and appearing to reflect. In the caption of the Instagram post, he wrote: "God."

After the tragedy, followers commented that the scene seemed to show the producer "in heaven". Several internet users offered condolences on social media and said that the publication felt like a "farewell".

"The mystery surrounding this video, filmed shortly before the death, is insane", commented one internet user. "The video, the description, the location, the music and the context - everything is surreal," said another. "How powerful this video right before death", said another.

Lucas Vignale was one of the victims of the plane crash that killed six people in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, west of Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.

Lucas Vignale was on one of the aircraft that crashed and left no survivors. In addition to him, singer Oliver Tree, producer Lucas Frota and YouTuber Gaspar Prim died.

At the beginning of the year, the professional attended the Berlin International Film Festival with the film "El Tren Fluvial".
