Video: man damages his ex's car when he finds her with a new partner

A 31-year-old man chased his ex-partner, aged 30, and damaged the car in which she and her current partner were traveling. The case happened this past Sunday (7), on Rua Haguemu Matsuzawa, in the Vila Ribeirópolis neighborhood, in Registro, a city in the interior of São Paulo.

The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) reported that the Civil Police is investigating the suspect for the crimes of threat, bodily harm, damage, psychological violence against women, stalking and illegal restraint.

According to the police report, the man was chasing his ex-partner, aged 30, and a young man aged 20, in addition to damaging the vehicle they were in.

During the episode, the victims were also allegedly threatened and attacked.

According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), he was in a car with his father and daughter when the child reported that his mother was in another vehicle with another man.

Upon realizing the situation, the man changed, got out of the car, took his ex-partner's cell phone and head-butted the rear windshield of the vehicle she was in, suffering head injuries.

When PRF agents arrived at the scene, he had already been rescued by the Fire Department and taken the woman's cell phone. According to the PRF, the initial motivation for the case would be related to the fact that the man did not accept the end of the relationship.

A second man, aged 57, is also investigated for alleged participation in the events. In addition to being advised to file a police report, the woman was advised to request a protective measure.
