Video: giant ball rolls through the streets of El Salvador during a storm
A giant inflatable ball installed to celebrate the World Cup was swept away during a storm in San Salvador, capital of El Salvador, and caught the attention of residents this week. The video went viral on social media this Monday (15).
Images recorded by witnesses show the object traveling through the streets of Zona Rosa, in the western region of the city, while drivers and pedestrians observed the scene.
At a certain point, the ball hits a vehicle traveling along the road before continuing to be carried away by the force of the wind.
According to Father Leal Delorian, responsible for the recording, the structure came loose from Praça Bambú, where it was on display.
The images also show that the ball was decorated with flags from several countries participating in the World Cup, such as Brazil, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Canada, among others.
So far, there is no information about injuries or damage caused by the incident.
