Video: "Flamenguista" police officers arrest CV chief in Maracanã
Police officers disguised as Flamengo fans arrested, on Wednesday night (20), one of the main leaders of the Comando Vermelho do Rio Grande do Norte. The arrest took place near Maracanã, in Rio de Janeiro, moments before the suspect entered the stadium to watch the match between Flamengo and Estudiantes, for the Copa Libertadores da América.
According to the police, the man is considered the second man in the faction's hierarchy in the northeastern state.
Investigations showed that the suspect, who had been monitored by authorities for days, alternated his stay between the communities of Rocinha and Complexo do Alemão, in the South and North zones of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, using these regions as a hiding place.
In this Wednesday's action, the agents identified that the suspect was at the stadium to watch the Flamengo game, at which point he was approached and arrested. Watch:

The police also point out that the suspect, considered highly dangerous, used social media to boast a luxurious routine, showing off jewelry, parties and weapons.
An arrest warrant was served against the man for the crime of drug trafficking.
