Video: Father kicks his 3-year-old daughter in the face after crying in Paraná

A father was caught on security cameras kicking his own 3-year-old daughter in the face in Francisco Beltrão, in the southwest of Paraná, last Sunday (5).

The images show the man walking down the street with two children. At one point, he kicks the girl, who falls to the ground.

The girl puts her hand to her mouth, the place hit by the blow. At that moment, a man approaches and appears to question the father about the attack.

The suspect attended the police station and was interviewed on Wednesday afternoon (8). In testimony, he confirmed the attack and stated that the reaction was motivated by his daughter's crying, but said he did not fully remember what happened.

According to the Civil Police, the girl was subjected to a physical injury examination, and the expert report is still awaited.

The corporation also continues to listen to witnesses and seek new images from video surveillance cameras to reconstruct the entire route taken by the person under investigation and the children.

As soon as they became aware of the video, the Civil Police launched an investigation to investigate the case. The child, mother and other family members have already been identified and interviewed.

The corporation also requested urgent protective measures in favor of the girl, her brother and mother. The Guardianship Council was called to monitor the case.
