Video: fake doctor is caught giving injection to patient in the middle of the street
A video obtained by CNN Brasil captured the moment in which a fake doctor gives an injection to a patient in the middle of the street. The man was arrested this Tuesday (26), during an operation by the São Paulo Civil Police, in the capital of São Paulo and in other municipalities in the state.
According to investigations, he and a second suspect would have carried out, over two years, around two thousand treatments at a private hospital in the east of the capital.
Investigations showed that nine patients died as a result of alleged errors and failures in the care provided.
In the recording, it is possible to see the moment in which the suspect, identified as Marcos Felipe de Barros, approaches the patient, shows the product to the woman and gives her the injection, in the middle of the street. Watch:

The arrest took place during Operation Hippocrates II, in the capital of São Paulo and in the municipalities of São Bernardo do Campo, Guarulhos, Poá and Mogi das Cruzes. In total, seven search and seizure warrants were executed, two for temporary arrest (one of which was already served with the arrest of the fake doctor), in addition to two other precautionary measures.
The hospital's operational manager and clinical director were removed from their duties during the course of the investigation, which identified signs of omission and negligence on the part of the hospital unit.
Delegate Mariano de Araújo stated that the investigation points to a prolonged clandestine operation, with very serious consequences for patients and signs of failures that go beyond fake doctors.

The operation was carried out by the 22nd Police District, in São Miguel Paulista. In total, seven search and seizure warrants were executed, two for temporary arrest, in addition to two other precautionary measures determined by the Courts.

CNN Brasil requested a position from the hospital involved and is awaiting feedback. The report also sought the defense of the suspects, but was unable to locate them at the time of publishing this article. The space remains open for demonstrations.
