Moscow, Russia, was the target of a serial attack with Ukrainian drones this Thursday (18), according to local authorities. One of them hit the oil refinery in the Russian capital, causing an explosion that made the roof of the place "fly into the air".

A video recorded by Moscow residents recorded the moment (see above). In the images, it is possible to see the entire roof of the refinery being thrown upwards with the explosion.
A check carried out by the Reuters news agency based on geolocation found that the video was recorded this Thursday in the Russian capital. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also confirmed that Ukrainian drones struck the city's refinery.

According to Russia, the country's air defense system destroyed 555 drones this Thursday alone. In the Moscow region, the city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, reported shooting down 180 drones.
On Tuesday (16), the same refinery was the target of an attack that caused widespread damage to Russian energy facilities.
In addition to the refinery, a residential building, an industrial facility and some houses were damaged in the attack, the government said. The impacts extended to the capital's air traffic, with the main airport having its operations temporarily suspended and people evacuated.
In parallel, the Ukrainian capital was targeted by Russian ballistic missiles, Kiev municipal authorities reported. Air attack warnings were issued for most of the territory of Ukraine.
