Bridge collapses and car is carried away by the current amid floods in China
China has been suffering from heavy rains and floods in several regions and, this Monday (25), a witness recorded the moment when a bridge collapsed in the city of Xiaogan, in the province of Hubei, in the center-east of the country.
The images show a car stopped on the edge of the asphalt, which had already cracked. After a few seconds, another part of the track gives way and he is carried away by the current.
According to the local press, the vehicle had a mechanical failure and was unable to reverse. The occupants managed to leave it before it fell into the river.

In Chongqing, a megalopolis in southwestern China, nine people died and around a dozen remain missing because of the floods.
This Monday (26), the Chinese government increased funding for flood response and prevention funds and allocated another 160 million yuan - the equivalent of R$118 million - for relief actions.
