Victor Xamã and WillsBife Unite Amazonia and South Korea in Epic Album "Estreito" - Luxury Rap that Connects Ancestry and Future!
Get ready for a musical journey that transcends continents! Victor Xamã, the rapper from Manaus who carries the soul of the Amazon in his dense rhymes, and WillsBife, a producer from South Korea, released the collaborative album Estreito on May 29, 2026. Inspired by the Bering Strait Theory, the project symbolizes the ancestral connection between Asia and the Americas, transforming science into sound and visual poetry.
Victor Xamã, with a solid career from Janela (2015) to the acclaimed Garcia (2023), brings the rawness of urban life in Manaus, themes of territory, ancestry and the environment. Partnerships with Luedji Luna and Baco Exu from Blues reinforce its prominence, including in the Multishow Alerta Experiment project. WillsBife polished the sound with extreme refinement, creating a "luxury rap" full of neo soul, boom bap, silences and lo-fi textures.
"There is this idea that we are from opposite extremes and, within this theory, that one day this was one thing", explains Victor. The album celebrates the natural encounter, without stereotypes like "Amazonian K-pop". It's pure, sophisticated rap, which unites past, present and future.
In addition to music, the project includes a praised audiovisual work and the gastronomic series Entre Pratos on YouTube. Victor uses the Japanese concept of Kintsugi - restoring the broken with gold - to talk about healing and connection. Despite the challenges of being an artist from the North in the central market, he refuses regional labels: "I want to be recognized as one of the best in Brazil."
Listen now and feel the ancestral bridge!
