Pilots Gabriel Maloni da Cruz and Henrique Guariente, who died after the crash of a small plane near Frank Miloye Milenkovich Airport, in Marília, in the interior of São Paulo, are in mourning this Thursday (11).

The accident happened on Wednesday morning (10). The two were trapped in the aircraft's hardware and died at the scene. A third pilot, identified as Pablo Portella, was also on board, but was rescued alive and taken to the hospital.

Maloni's wake takes place this morning in the municipality of Jales, in the interior of São Paulo. The burial will take place at 5pm in the city of Paranapuã. The information was released by the company he worked for, Grupo Ponzon Alimentos, also responsible for the aircraft.

Guariente's wake takes place in Ribeirão Preto. The following day, Friday (12) at 10 am, there will be a farewell ceremony at the Parque das Orquídeas Cemetery, in Marília.

Survivor's health status
Pablo Portella was the only survivor of the accident that killed Gabriel and Henrique. He was rescued by the Fire Department and taken to hospital.

On social media, his wife, Natiele Ilowski, reported that he is fine, talks and breathes without difficulty, and that he should be discharged soon.

Accident and tests on the aircraft
According to CNN Brasil, Portella, Maloni and Guariente were pilots and carried out tests on the aircraft. There is still no confirmation as to who was in control of the plane at the time of the accident.

The plane crashed around 11 am on Wednesday (10), in the area of a club, after taking off from the terminal, near Frank Miloye Milenkovich Airport, in Marília, in the interior of São Paulo.

The aircraft was private and had two conventional engines. It was owned by businessman Carlos Eduardo Alves, owner of the company where Gabriel Maloni worked for around 2 years.

The company published a note of condolence and stated that it will continue to help the authorities understand what happened.

When contacted, the FAB (Brazilian Air Force) informed that it will investigate the circumstances of the crash.
