The promise of "miracle performance" leads young people and adults to consume tadalafil without medical advice. The drug, popularly known as "tadala", is one of the best-selling generics in the country.

Experts say that in men without physiological problems, the medicine only works as a "psychological cane". Performance in undiagnosed young people is often a placebo effect and may, in practice, show no real gains.

Is a Tadalafil overdose possible?
According to information from Anvisa, the recreational or aesthetic use of these substances can cause serious effects, such as heart attack, cerebrovascular accident (CVA), hypotension (low blood pressure), loss of vision or hearing, in addition to psychological dependence.

A study from the University of British Columbia shows that regular users of these medications have an 85% increased risk of developing serious retinal or optic nerve conditions.

The date in question raises another problem. The combination with alcoholic beverages can cause a paradoxical effect, reducing dopaminergic activity and compromising "energy" at the time of celebration.
