US will issue passports with Trump's face and signature

As part of the celebrations of 250 years of independence, the United States will issue passports with the face of President Donald Trump. The information was confirmed by State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott on a social network.

The inside cover of the commemorative edition will have an illustration based on Trump's official portrait as head of state. The artwork will also include his signature in gold. In the background will be the flag and the Declaration of Independence.

Another page will feature a painting of the country's founders signing the document that marked American independence from the British monarchy.

A limited number of the new model will be released. The document will have the same validity and the same security features as the conventional version.
