USA reports Iranian attacks on neighboring countries in the Middle East; FOLLOW According to Iranian state TV, a draft agreement being negotiated with the US provides for Iranian management of the Strait of Hormuz; White House denies it. Iran accused the US this Tuesday (26) of violating the ceasefire between the two countries, in force since April 8. On Monday (25), the US Army stated that it carried out "self-defense attacks" in southern Iran. This Tuesday morning, Iran's supreme leader stated that the US will no longer be safe in the Middle East. The escalation of tension comes amid negotiations to end the conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. According to Iranian media, ongoing negotiations include a request from Iran to release R$120 billion in Iranian assets frozen abroad.
